Get One Free, Buy One
Roll up, roll up! Never to be repeated offer! I’m giving away books. Again.
My dear husband and I are moving house and a ruthless book cull is about to commence. A copy, (signed or not, as you wish) of any of my backlist to the first takers. Just send me a message. If you’re already the proud owner of the Complete Collected Works of Laurie Graham why not inflict me on your friends, give a copy to a friend and introduce them to my work?
Please note that I’m excluding The Grand Duchess and Night in Question from this offer because I need you to pester your bookshop about those. Anything else, if I’ve got it you can have it. Think of it as Get OneFree, then Buy One.
What a generous offer, I’d love a copy of Future Homemakers if you have one going spare and could you sign it please. It’s still my favourite! I have just finished TNIQ and loved it, I recommended it yesterday to my Mum for her book club. She used to live above Leman St police station when my Dad was stationed there in the early 50’s.
I would like a copy of At Sea for my sons teacher, Jan. I have a few teachers to buy for, so will get The Grand Duchess for another. But I have got a few freebies from you already, so put me at the bottom of your list.
Please may I pay for the postage (because I’ve already been the grateful, greedy recipient of your largesse)? I would love a signed copy of The Dress Circle. And yes, I’ll be buying a copy of another (The Liar’s Daughter) as a gift this Christmas!
Hi Laurie – would love a copy of The Unfortunates, signed please. Also Mr Starlight if you have one to spare. Both lent to friends and not returned!
Please let me have a note of any costs.
Jenny
Oooh. I’ve already been the fortunate recipient of a book from you, so again, others more deserving ahead of me, but if you’ve got a spare of any of Mr Starlight (only ever had from the library!) or At Sea or Lubka (only have on the kindle!) I’d love one. As the others have said, I’m happy to pay postage too. And I’ll be buying myself a copy of the Night in Question to add to the Laurie Graham shelf. And possibly one for my mother too because she always borrows them off me!
I have also received a book from you before, but if there is a spare copy of Life with Lubka going, that would make my Xmas bliss complete.
I would also be very interested in a book of your collected journalism and would certainly want to buy this one.
Hi Laurie, I can’t justify a free book as I already have all your books, including the one on marriage advice! However, I have just been dragged into a book club and immediately recommended your books. Several people made a note! Good luck with the move. Nessie
